Scholarships for the Tribal Economic Prosperity Workshop and Governor’s Conference on Economic Development
The Wisconsin Indian Business Alliance (WIBA) is offering a limited number of scholarships for two events that offer economic opportunities for Wisconsin’s Tribal Nations.
The first is the Introduction to Economic Prosperity Planning Series for Wisconsin Tribes that is being held on Wednesday, February 5th at the Tommy G. Thompson Center in Madison.
This FREE half day session will introduce participants to the Economic Prosperity Planning workshops that are now available to Wisconsin Tribes. WIBA’s scholarship will cover your lodging.
The second event is WEDA’s Governor’s Conference on Economic Development, which will be held on February 6th and February 7th at the Monona Terrace in Madison.
The Conference will feature national presenters that are experts on blending community and economic development efforts to advance social outcomes. View the Conference agenda. WIBA’s scholarship will cover your Conference fee and lodging.
If you are interested in attending one or both of these events, please complete the attached form and return it to me as soon as possible – and no later than Friday, January 24, 2020.
I will follow up with confirmation of your scholarship award, and early next week I will provide you travel and lodging information.
Please feel free to share this with your colleagues, and we hope you will consider taking advantage of these opportunities.
Thank you 😊
