Sweetgrass Stables, LLC.

Sweetgrass Stables, LLC., is a 100% Native and U.S. Veteran owned and operated business served by First Nations Community Financial (FNCF).

“This is a small business ‘dream come true’ as the Black River Falls and Jackson County community was in need of an indoor riding facility for equine sports as well as other agriculturally-related activities for schools, non-profit organizations, agricultural education and equine assisted psychotherapy session for disabled veterans, special needs children and long term care clients,” said Michelle Greendeer, owner of Sweetgrass Stables.

Sweetgrass Stables offers a number of engaging opportunities for disabled children and veterans to make new, lifetime relationships with our four-legged friends.

This 32 acre riding and boarding facility is open seven days a week for riding pleasure. The facility contains a refurbished horse barn which is available to match every horse personality and where all breeds of horses are welcome. Visit the Sweetgrass Stables website for more information.
